Pioneer Sysytem

Mr. L. Ramasamy began his illustrious career in 1952 with the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB), the state’s premier electricity provider at the time. Over a remarkable span of nearly six decades, he steadily rose through the ranks, ultimately earning the distinguished position.

Throughout his tenure, he became widely recognized for his unparalleled expertise and deep knowledge in the maintenance, erection, commissioning, repair, troubleshooting, and operation of power transformers, including all models of OLTC and Off Load Tap Changer systems.

His extensive experience covered a wide range of power generation facilities—from hydroelectric power plants nestled in the hills to large-scale thermal power stations. Mr. L. Ramasamy successfully managed and executed numerous complex and technically demanding projects across Tamil Nadu, often under challenging conditions.

In recognition of his exceptional service and invaluable contributions to the power sector, Mr. L. Ramasamy was granted a rare two-year service extension beyond the official retirement age in 1992—a testament to his dedication and the high regard in which he was held within the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board.
